Happy Holidays from Lake Attitash

Hello Friends and Families of the Lake Attitash Community!

At this time of year, we reflect on all we have to be thankful for, bearing in mind that to give is far more rewarding than to receive. Our lake is a gift to all of us, and your financial support will help to improve and preserve the lake for generations to come!

If you have made a donation to the association this year, thank you for your gift. Any additional end-of-year contributions would also be greatly appreciated, and are tax deductible. Your tax deductible contribution can be made by:

The threat from cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) remains and continues be the major focus of association activity. Funds are being raised to pay for a $600,000 treatment to rid the lake of cyanobacteria for 15 to 20 years. It is critical that the association raise $240,000 in matching funds to apply for a $360,000 grant that will enable us to pay for the treatment. It is only through the generosity of, members, friends of the association and the Town of Merrimac & City of Amesbury that these costly programs can take place.

If you haven’t made a contribution this year, as you decide upon your end-of-year donations and gifts, we hope that you will consider a tax deductible contribution to the Lake Attitash Association.
