Attitash Winterfest planned for Saturday, Feb 14, 1 to 4 pm

Tug o’ war at 2014 Winterfest

The general public is welcome at the 2015 Lake Attitash Winterfest, scheduled for Saturday, Feb 14, at the state boat ramp in Merrimac. (Click here for map.)

The festival will take place from 1-4 pm that afternoon and include cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, snowman making, human dog sled racing, tug o’ war, and other fun. Activities will depend on snow and ice conditions that day.

The afternoon is being organized by the Lake Attitash Association, but all are welcome. Association membership is not required.

The Lake Attitash Association is providing music, hot chocolate, hot cider, s’mores and gas grills. Those attending are asked to bring a potluck item for sharing, a chair, and their own beverage. (This is a family event – no alcohol please.)
