23 boats parade shoreline for 2015 Grand Illumination
The Lake Attitash Association’s board of directors thanks all who participated in last evening’s Grand Illumination and Boat Parade.
About 23 boats paraded around the shoreline just before dusk. Some were decorated as pirate ships, patriotic floats and glittering light shows. One boat was celebrating a family member’s birthday! Others were undecorated but joined in the fun by waving and sounding horns. All were cheered and encouraged by folks on docks and along the shore.
After dark, the shoreline was bright with lighted and decorated houses and yards on every shore. The weather cooperated with cool but comfortable temperatures and clear, starry skies.
