Ice Out Lottery - 50:50 Raffle - When Will the Ice Melt?

The Lake Attitash Association is running a 50:50 Ice Out raffle this winter! What is an Ice Out raffle? You can buy a raffle entry to guess the final date when the ice will melt on the lake. The more entries you buy, the more dates you can pick, which means the more chances you'll have to win!

Half of the proceeds will go to the winner and half will go to the Lake Attitash Association. Tickets may be purchased for $10 each and you can register and pay below.

You may purchase as many tickets as you like. Anyone can join in the fun! Tell your family and friends and get a little competition going - who will guess the closest date? Only time will tell.

Who decides when the ice is finally melted?
The LAA Ice Out committee will decide. The committee is made up of LAA Board Members who have volunteered to take on the responsibility of monitoring the lake from the four viewpoints this winter. Committee members (the judges) cannot win.

How will the LAA Ice Out committee decide?
The lake will be viewed from four locations – the Birches Dam, the Boat Ramp, AALLSIA beach, and the entrance to Back River. The first date on which there is no visible ice anywhere on the lake surface (with the exception of the area in red), at 2:00PM, will be declared ice out day!

If there is more than one winning entry, all winners will split the winning pot equally. If no one selects the winning date, the winner(s) will be the ticket that selected the closest date to ice out day. Last year's prize was over $500!!

The winner will be notified by the email provided. No entries will be accepted after March 3rd or if the ice melts before that, whichever happens first.
